We offer a range of mental health support services for individuals and couples, supporting a range of different mental health issues and situations. Our multilingual clinicians include registered psychologists and clinical psychologists (AHPRA registered in Australia), who provide a comprehensive range of psychological services via online telehealth sessions.
Our Australian based and registered counsellors offer online counselling and psychotherapy sessions, and our highly qualified and experienced overseas based therapists provide mental health support in your preferred language.
In Australia, “psychologist” is a legally protected title and only practitioners registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) can use it and offer psychological services. AHPRA registration indicates a practitioner has met Australian standards of education, training and professional conduct. All clinicians that are referred to as psychologists at Equana Minds are AHPRA registered.
All our overseas therapists and counsellors hold relevant degrees and licenses in their home countries and practice as counsellors or therapists for Equana Minds. Our strict internal process ensures all our overseas therapists are qualified and have extensive experience.
Additionally, our Australian-based therapists and counsellors hold relevant qualifications, experience and registration with national board bodies.
Therapists and counsellors provide counselling or therapy under appropriate titles and within the scope of their qualifications. We clearly label each clinician’s registration status so you can make informed choices about what support is right for you.
